CSnotepad vs Pocket Receptionist

What does CSnotepad offer?

CSnotepad offers virtual receptionist and telephone answering services. When you sign up for the service, you receive a telephone number of your choice – local 01 / 02; 03; or 08.

Setting up an account with CSnotepad is free and the cancellation notice period is 2 months. The notice period doesn’t apply if you want to cancel less than 30 days into using the service.

CSnotepad has two sets of pricing packages – per call and per minute, which are called Entry, Standard, Intermediate, Advanced and Premium. We will present those in the tables below.

CSnotepad users can benefit from some of the following features: personalised out-of-hours voicemail, call forwarding, 24/7 telephone answering, ad-hoc outbound calls, personalised on-hold recording and carrying over of unused calls to the following month.

Bear in mind, however, that the majority of the features are unavailable with the Entry package. The “carry over unused calls” could also only be used with the Premium package, and the customer can carry over only up to 10% of their plan to the following month.

Normally, CSnotepad receptionists would ask for up to 6 pieces of information.

The “per minute” plan is appropriate for customers who either want their receptionist to collect a lot of information, or just the opposite – only take the caller’s name and message without getting into much detail.

CSnotepad assumes that a phone call lasts 2 minutes on average, which is reflected in their “per minute” packages. The pricing is the same as in the “per call” plans, the only difference being that the inclusive calls are converted into inclusive minutes

Comparing CSnotepad to Pocket Receptionist

There is no major difference in pricing between the two products. In fact, CSnotepad’s Intermediate package covering 100 calls (200 minutes) costs exactly as much as Pocket Receptionist’s PR 100 package - £140 / month. We have added the monthly management fee incurred by CSnotepad to the comparison, too.

We have to acknowledge the flexibility offered by CSnoterpad in the pricing plans. They allow their customers to choose whether to be billed per calls or per minutes, which gives the customer freedom to choose what will suit them best.

Pocket Receptionist’s advantage over CSnotepad is the availability of a smartphone app. The app adds crucial value to the functionality of the Pocket Receptionist system. The customer can receive live call notifications on it in order to deal with the calls as soon as possible and in the most effective way.

We still send SMS and email alerts, as CSnotepad does, but the app allows quicker and easier interaction that cannot be achieved by any of the other two notification methods.
